The Impact Catalyst: Turning Your Cocreation Workshops into Measurable Results

Too often, strategic workshops end as just good conversations. But how can you tell if they truly sparked transformation within your team?
At Maïeutyk, we created the Impact Catalyst; a clear, powerful tool that demonstrates the value of our workshops with measurable results.
How does it work?
The Impact Catalyst is based on a before-and-after approach:
- Before the workshop: a survey measures participants’ perceptions on key criteria such as strategic alignment, clarity of vision, confidence, differentiation, and more.
- After the workshop: the same survey is repeated, which makes it possible to measure progress in a tangible way.
These data immediately reveal the impact of cocreation, transforming impressions into measurable results.
Methodology
– Pre and post-workshop surveys are short questionnaires sent to participants to measure progress on specific criteria.
– Clear rating scales are used. Responses are collected on a weighted scale (1 to 5) where:
5 = Very clear, 4 = Clear, 3 = Moderately clear, 2 = Unclear, 1 = Not at all clear
or on a scale from 1 to 10, in order to compare perceptions “before” and “after.”
– Quantified results: data are aggregated and presented visually (charts, infographics) to make the impact clear and concrete.
– Strategic recommendations: beyond the numbers, we analyze results to highlight strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities. Each report includes practical recommendations that serve as a springboard for the action plan.
This methodology allows us to demonstrate, with data, how co-creation evolves your teams and strengthens your strategic foundations.
The benefits of the Impact Catalyst
– Alignment: teams moving in the same direction, guided by shared priorities.
– Strategic clarity: a common and well-understood vision, from the “why” to the “how.”
– Confidence: nurtured by transparent exchanges, active listening, and authentic collaboration.
A concrete example
The mandate
An online workshop bringing together 18 participants from several departments.
🎯 Objectives of the workshops:
- Define the ideal client and their journey
- Break down internal silos (many!) to improve collaboration
- Create favourable conditions for cross-selling between divisions
This exercise made it possible to establish solid foundations for aligning teams around a shared vision of the client and stimulating commercial synergies that were previously limited.
Sample questions asked
Here are a few examples drawn from our pre and post-workshop surveys:
- Understanding of the sales process: Does your team have a clear understanding of the sales process in the utilities segment?
- Cross-selling opportunities: How often do you share upselling or cross-selling opportunities with other divisions?
- Motivation: What is your level of motivation to share these opportunities? (rated on 10)
- Shared space: Do you have a common space to share customer information across divisions?
These simple yet targeted questions measure the real evolution of perceptions, collaboration, and trust within the teams.
Here is an excerpt from a survey conducted with this team that participated in our workshops:
In only three workshops (Persona and the two types of Customer Journey), the teams shifted from a fragmented understanding to a clear, shared, and mobilizing vision.
Examples of recommendations we can provide:
- Encourage cross-team collaboration through joint workshops or internal interviews.
- Set up simple information-sharing tools (forms, CRM) to improve consistency and reduce silos.
- Organize knowledge transfer activities (lunch & learns, mini internal training sessions) to consolidate what has been learned.
The Impact Catalyst: the difference between an inspiring workshop and a workshop that truly transforms your organization.
ROI over time
The ROI doesn’t stop when the workshop ends. It carries into the implementation of the strategy: tracking your results quarter after quarter, adjusting actions when needed, and transforming every success into a lever for the next.
